Just be it.

[Risk No. 380] My friend and I parted ways to our respective vehicles. As I was crossing the street, I noticed an elderly man with a walker being assisted by what I assumed to be his wife. My mind deliberated, my heart said go. I quickly strolled after them and asked if I could pray that God would renew his body. His (I didn't catch his name) wife told me I could pray for him but that neither his body (specifically, hips) or head worked very well. He was 84 years old. What's age in the Kingdom of God, though? Just because we, as a society, assume mental and physical disease as the elderly norm, ought not hinder my perspective on what God may desire to accomplish. I prayed over his hips and his mind and then blessed he and his wife. Love; just be it.
