Jasmine.

[Risk No. 283] During our stay near Gatlinburg, my kids noted how many Pancake houses there were. We really want pancakes, dad! Point well taken. I chose to take them to a place named Applewood. They loved it while I thought the food was straight from a box, can, or otherwise pure processed. My daughter kept telling me how quickly our waitress spoke. "She talks so fast, dad!" Before we left I asked Jasmine how we could pray for her. Without skipping a beat, she asked for prayer for her husband, a Mexican man who was likely to face immigration issues. I held Jasmine's hand and we prayed over her and Renaldo. My wife later commented at how often people whom we ask to pray for do have an immediate or significant concern they would like prayer for. It is crazy how often people do have a surefire prayer request. Help us be the blessing we're called to be, Jesus.
