Angel & Mary.
[Risks No. 220-221] Angel didn't look much like one. She looked more like a beat-down stoner. I reached out my hand to introduce myself and began praying a blessing over her. There are times where asking is more awkward than simply praying. I reminded her how much Jesus loved her. She looked at me like I was the craziest person on planet earth, not because I prayed, but because she lives in a world where people simply walk in and out of her life, never taking the time to hold her hand and extend love. Mary was right next door and I asked how I could pray. She was overcoming a heavy bout with bronchitis. We prayed and rebuked the last remaining symptoms. I encouraged her. Her smile read, "I needed that."
